Climbing Murcia
There are a number of minimum ethical guidelines related to the natural environment and the practice of climbing that should always be kept in mind
Route Equipment
Do not alter the fixed equipment on routes or in climbing areas. If any damage or issues are detected, the most appropriate action is to notify the local route developers.
My own Equipment
Always use your own equipment when top-rope climbing, and remove it only from the final anchor.
What to do after finishing?
After finishing a climb, brush off any chalk from the rock and avoid leaving visible marks or ticks.
Plants
Do not remove or cut plants or shrubs, as the Region of Murcia is home to plant species that are endangered.
Littering
Always respect the natural and rural environment: do not leave any type of litter or organic waste, stay on established paths, take care of surrounding structures, and respect designated parking areas.
Dogs
Train your dog to behave appropriately in climbing areas and keep it under control at all times.
